About Me
THIS IS WHERE I'M SUPPOSED TO GIVE MY ENTIRE LIFE STORY
and tell you why my life experiences have made my music "revolutionary."
Yeah.
Not so much.
Finally being myself (I know, what a concept), and writing songs about everything from God's grace to scalp-greasing to parking lots... & love, of course.
And surprisingly,
people dig it.

Below: Performing "G-Funk" with Miami's own SUENALO, baby. They're sick!
Below: Performing at a dorm blackout talent show. And hey, the guitar= straight up subpar. But cut me some slack...just started learning.
Below: Performing "I Stand Still" (my newest piece!) at The Side Bar:
" I heard it through
the grapevine... "
"... an extremely talented young singer, Danni Bay. She's going to be backed up by some of the Umoja boys, but this is a woman who needs no assistance in the music department. The obvious comparison is to Lauryn Hill, but that doesn't work for me - I'd rather say she's like the first drop of cool rain on a hot summer day."
- Kyle Mitchell, writer for the Gainesville Sun!
"There is something about her that I really like. It may be the sincerity in her voice that makes me buy into what she is saying."
- Mike Soul, artist, United Kindom/ New York
"We like her voice so much. That's why we had to put her as artist of the week."
- DJ Bisous & DJ Law, Da Mix Space (www.myspace.com/misterdjlaw)
"I would soooo buy an album of [hers], and I don't mean iTunes. I mean I'd take a bus to the store and buy type purchase. AMAZING."
- Nicole Harris, street team member for Michelle Bonilla (gospel artist), Florida
"After we heard [her] myspace we knew we wanted to have [her] sing with us."
- Doug and David from Gainesville's (popular and amazingly talented) Umoja Orchestra
"I got the same feeling I had when I first heard Amy Winehouse. You would be huge over here in the U.K. Why you're unsigned, I don't know, but I'm sure that'll soon be rectified."
- Jamie Boy, myspace user, United Kingdom
"Collabing with [her] would be an honor."
- Savant, emcee and skilled lyricist, Chicago
"...I hesitate in saying this because I don't want to blow your head up, but you probably have one of the best voices I've heard in person..."
- Profit
"...Danni Bay gives a lot of entertainment to the testorone-infused, and believe me, she makes it sound just as good as she makes it look."
- Kyle Mitchell, writer for the Gainesville Sun
