One of my dreams is to make an indie movie with the best soundtrack on earth.
WRISTCUTTERS, The Chumscrubber, Rushmore, the Royal Tenenbaums, blah, blah... I like Quentin Tarantino. Another good director is Tim Burton. You know what else is good? Kitschy musicals like Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors, The Point, Yellow Submarine, etc. Trippy stuff, that! Pulp Fiction, LA Confidential, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Donnie Darko, Trainspotting, Metropolis, Amelie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, (Jeezus, i love Michel Gondry. Watch his music videos! )Moulin Rouge, Hair, (i'm such a hippie) AMERICAN BEAUTY, The Truman Show, Pleasantville, Midnight Cowboy, Dog Day Afternoon ( I like sad movies.) and you know, tons of other stuff.
A people's history of the united states, 1984, The stand, I just found this crazy book at our nonexistent school library about a girl who goes to a private art school on the East Coast, and I like it. It's called IT'S BETTER THAN RUNNING AT NIGHT. Henry David Thoreau's Civil Disobedience. Astrology Books. Beatnik Poetry. Kurt Vonnegut. He's an acquired taste, and i have acquired a taste for him.
I like the broke bohemian types. I also love the artists.
