Casino was born ,Bolivar Perez in Santo Domingo Dominican Republic.He and his family migrated to the U.S.
when he was 4 years old, making the Bronx,New York his new home.With musical parents who would always
play merengue & bachatta and coming up in the Bronx during the 80's, witnessing & living the Hip Hop movement,
young Casino discovered a love for music.He started remembering & reciting lyrics of his favorite rappers &
knew he wanted to take it further than just that.
No stranger to being the underdog,Casino and his family were further put to the test when his father commited suicide
while in their presence.Dealing with that and now not having a father figure made it easy for Casino to adopt his
neighborhood & the ways of the streets as a replacement.Slowly straying from his aspirations to be a talented writer,
at the age of 20 Casino had a child.Wanting to give his son an easier life than he had, Casino switched up his hustle
again and rediscovered his love for music.Casino was raised on & influenced by legendary MC's like Big Pun,Biggie,Pac,Nas and Jay Z making expectations of
him very high.In 2004 Casino met Martin Briones of SkyHigh Music & the team decided to take him under their wing,
help to further develop him and eventually signed him.Casino has been recording nonstop ever since and been buliding
his catalogue of hits.With appearences on several mixtapes & compilation albums Casino is now making his presence
felt and inspires to be a major voice in the music world.Still young Casino has seen and been through alot & hopes people can relate and find inspiration from his stories &
struggles he shares with us through his music.He is currently working on a mixtape due out early 2008 and his
debut album which is highly anticipated & due out summer of 08. . . . . .
