Born July 3 1977 in the town of Falmouth, a north rural town in the parish of Trelawny, Jamaica. Where he went to the all age school in his area and later attended the William Knibb Memorial High School, the same school as the triple gold medalist Usain Bolt. Even though the talent of singing was instilled in him, it was not until high school I-BAR truly recognized that music was his love. After graduating high school, I-BAR did casual work before relocating to Kingston in mid 1998. In the early 1999 I-BAR was introduced to proffesional music by an unfor seen link up, since then I-BAR has been signed under Clyde Mackenzie management for 2 years, performed at many stage shows such as: Reggae in the hills- various star time events, Fully loaded, Fun fest among others. In 2006 I-BAR entered the JCDC popular song finals he advance to the semi finals, he did not win but he took home the experience. December of the year 2007 I-BAR was the champion of Hype tv’s battle of the ametures season 2. Currently I-BAR is recording singles geared towards his debut album.
