About Me

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know... if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive... It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back. It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away. ~ O.M.D., "The Invitation"

USC 2005 still the best team of all time?

Yes, USC shockingly lost to a great Texas team. I saw the whole thing and was incredulous at the number of mental mistakes USC committed. I don't mind the 1st half rustiness - hey, it happens to the b...

Xbox 360 worth the wait?

This was the first (and last) time I camped for a sale, especially a gaming console. It was just a business investment for me. Not that it was boring; the first 12 or so were intelligent conversationa...

Anne's birthday/spa day

Wow, to think I've mostly avoided spas because of their Roman baths. Glen Ivy in Corona is one classy place. The men's room has a sauna AND a plasma TV. If it weren't for all the nudists I might've st...

It was a tough choice, the last year that I have several friends graduating in 3 schools, and I could only go to one. 5 of the 9 city valedictorians are my former students, including all 3 at Arroyo w...
