Welcome to DUBBZinc myspace page...Born and bred in Birminham Town, Been into music ever since i got a pair of ears, i grew up listening mainly to reggae and soul music with Bob Marley as an early idol. I then took a keen interest in Birminghams own Legends UB40. Greggory Issac, Sanchez, Beres Hammond, Freddie Mcgregor, Buju Banton, Carol Gonzales and not forgetting the main man Cutty Ranks are 2 name just a few of my favourite Reggae Artists.
I started my clubbing days in the height of the jungle scene and loved it big time, Fast beats Big Fat Bass lines and chattin M.c's creating a wicked vibe. And then came UK Garage musicI got hooked on Garage Music as soon as i heard it. Same party vibe but now the music is more sexy and has gained Skippy 4x4 and 2-step beats with heavy bass lines. Tuff Jam were the early gods of the uk garage movement and had me hooked instantly.I started going out all weekend every weekend to garage raves from about 1996 until 2003. In Birmingham you would always find me bopsing in Club Kudos, West End Bar, Q-Club, After Dark, The Wheel, Redwoods, Satans Paradise and sunday Senstial to name a few. I also went down to twice as nice, Libertys, Bagleys and all the big raves ie Garage Nation and La CosaNostra. I also done Aiya Napa in 1999/2000 with some Silk City D.J's and M.c's which was RUFF.
I Started Mixing on the decks Around 1997 shown the way by my main man Dj Xian (shan) Bad Boy D.J from the Original Silk City Family. I Started out in music production making mixtapes and megamixes and bootlegs and then moved on to producing remixes whilst experimenting with new sounds mainly uk garage/ 2-step/reggae and RnB.
Feel Free to add me to your friends im a Real person no pretence just in it for the love of music.
