Kyle Ginter grew up in the deep south of San Diego with the Mexican border as his backyard. Extremely loud military helicopters flying everyday a few yards from your front door isn't exactly the place where anyone would think a musician would come from. As a child, Kyle was not raised with the stereotypical music story. He was not born into a family of musicians nor has he been playing instruments or singing since he could stand. Rather, it was Kyle's natural born drive and work ethic that earned him his talent.
In December of 2006, Kyle's lifelong friend Joe Knox took him under his wing and began to mentor him in musical production. For the next year, Kyle continued learning the trade under Joe’s guidance while building a business known as Iris Avenue Records; a company owned and operated by Joe Knox, Atlee "Tha Anthem" Urquhart, and himself.
As Kyle continued his rapid progress, his amazing business sense and musical visions began to blossom. In late 2007, Kyle finished executive-producing Tha Anthem’s debut album entitled “The Exception, Not the Rule.†Proving he to be not only an amazing businessman, but also a musical mastermind.
Kyle Ginter will continue executive-producing releases through his label along with his would be brother Joe Knox. He is currently writing the remainder of his debut album entitled "Don't Wake Up" under his studio name Forever and a Day as well as executive-producing both Joe Knox's sophomore LP "The Wheel of Fire" and Tha Anthem's follow-up album "Act Right or Get Left."
