Every single day i write in my black notebook of what i see from school, streets, the mall, parties, etc etc and i put them all down in each song i do with a creative line that rhymes with it. I been writing music everysince 4th grade in elementry school and i still remember the very first rap i wrote lol. Everytime i look back on it i laugh. I always had a strong passion for music especially rap/hiphop. In school i was always the calm, layed back, quite, goofy, shy type of person but alot people dont relize that i pack alot talent. Instead of paying attention in class i just sit with my headphones blasting a dope ass beat and im writing down lyrics and creating magic.
Born at 12:00 am on April 5, 1993 in Knoxville, Tennesse at UT. I was named Psalms Bronelle Bailey Jr and nick named jay by the family. At my early ages we moved to Killeen, Texas. Hitting 5th grade thats when i started taking my music serious by freestyling other young rappers in the area at school and was basically crowned "the best freestyle rapper in the neighborhood". I was a youngster ripping up teenagers and writing raps for other people in school. Soon as i got promoted up to 6th grade thats when i first went to the studio took record a High Quality song called "Always Stuntin" Featuring my cousin Cuben also known as Lil C back then. The song got radio play all over winter break.
Couple months later i clicked up with a dude named jacob at Audie Murphy Middle School. We became friends right on the spot and he had the same passion for music like me. But instead of a rapper he wanted to be a producer. A few weeks later we're at his house and on a Producing software called Fruity Loops and he made his first beat and i recorded on it. The song was called "Thow ya sets up" lol. After that song i came over his house every weekend and we'll stay up til the sunlight making nothing but songs and dropping freestyles. Thats when we created a group/click called TCR "Trill City Records". The youngest, Best, Most known group in Killeen. Man, we was deep. Click full of goons that could rap, sing, and produce.
Months passed and the group Trill City Desolved. Everybody just went there on seperate ways. Not to mention throught all of that just happend i a had a bestfriend named Kadarien "Kwann, Kdeez,B Noc, Popcorn, Lil K..the list goes lmaoo". Me and him been cool everysince 6th grade. Now im not saying i taught him how to rap i just like kind of made him put a little rythm into it and i got him into making music. I believed that me and him recorded over 100 songs. Thats how many songs we done. We always had a dream to be legends in the rap game like "Ugk, 8Ball & Mjg". We also had some bad times were people turn us against each other and spread lies, and rumors. We ended up dissing eachother on couple of tracks
With me tied up in a knot with Kadarien and Jacob it was hard to focus on my music because Jacob didnt like kadarien and kadarien didnt like Jacob and them to where basically my closest friends i had. So i'll spend one night with Jacob recording music and another with Kadarien recording music. Lmao. I know it sounds kind of .. but yeah. The beef between Jacob and Kadarien was driving me crazy. It was alot of people coming fake at that time. I mean alot!m I didnt know who to believe. So that lead me to talk to niether and focus in my music.
1 Year later with Jacob out the picture i formed a group calld D.F.A.M "Dubs, Females, And, Money" with Kadarien and my other parter Demetrius aka D.Brown(the singer of the group). We recorded a song called "Phone Sex" which sparked our carrer and got us over 50k plays on that one song. We also filmed the "Actin A Azz" Franchise with 3 full funny episodes. To bad the group couldnt continue on with there carrers because i had to move to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. I stayed there a couple of months and moved back to Knoxville, Tennesse(Ground Zero).
