THE BAND
Formed from the members of Inglory and Avarice, Avarice Is Dead are the North West’s very own “super groupâ€.After taking some time off in 2007, they took a new approach to the music scene, and how it developed.
The band developed a way of combining apocalyptic riffs, venomous vocal lines, and grandiose chorus’s, and with this combination the outcome are gigs with sonic power and vigour. Avarice Is Dead’s ferocious yet melodious sound sometimes crash into no man’s land, but the band are mesmerising with energy and passion.With 2007 now at close, and 2008 starting off well for the band, Avarice Is Dead are always looking to better themselves, and stand out from the crowd, with more songs that lure you in before a snarling vocal and rhythm lines try and bite your head off.
2008 will be a awesome year for Avarice Is Dead, already to date, they have started on a high note, raising their profile, and with a planned 20 day tour in the process of being booked for September / October, the band are looking forward to what can be accomplished.

DVD RELEASE
2008 will see the release of Avarice Is Dead DVD called “The Lonely Deadâ€.
It will feature video footage from a selection of our gigs, behind the scenes footage, to give you a insight into what goes on when we’re not playing, plus much much more.
