Let me see... I was born on a ranch in western Montana. I am the eldest daughter of fourth-generation ranchers, but the rural life was never for me, really. Horses were always taking me away from work.I left home for the first time when I was sixteen. I lived in Seattle for a year eking out a living as a waitress.My parents had been forced to sell their ranch and moved into town. They made it clear that I was on my own. The next stop for me was Las Vegas. I waited tables until I discovered a much more lucrative line of work: exotic dancing. I spent all the money I had earned on school and the aspiring career of my music-producing boyfriend, Eddie. Dating turned to engagement which turned to marriage...When our turbulent quasi-romance ended, Eddie left me with ten dollars in the bank, a coke habit, and my daughter, Lindsey. I finally pulled it together for my own sake and for the sake of Lindsey.I didn’t really become a CSI because I wanted to right the wrongs of the world - I became a CSI because it made me feel like a kid solving puzzles. I love the challenge and the buzz of working a case. Especially putting away a scum-bag after a hard day's work.A services officer, Gil Grissom at the time, recruited me to work at his lab here in Las Vegas. I started as an assistant technician and worked my way up for over a decade to become a CSI Level Three.At the Las Vegas Crime Lab, I specialize in Blood Spatter Analysis thanks to my education- B.S. in Medical Technology at UNLV.
