ACTING is the ACT of communicating a message that causes someone to ACT, reACT, or take ACTion. Pin Points Theatre teaches how skills in theater are applied to the challenges of life: Memorizing scripts sharpens recall for school work. A successful audition requires the same skills used in job interviews. Directing actors is the same as supervising employees. Coordinating tasks of actors and production crews demand the organizational skills of a CEO. Budgeting money is a necessary grief in both theater and business. Promoting a play requires advertising campaigns that would make a corporation proud. Abstinence from sex, drugs and violence increases a young person's chances for success in the theater of life.Established in 1980, Pin Points Theatre has embraced these principles and applied them to its own success, often taking community productions to national and international stages, emphasizing plays that are enlightening, entertaining, professional and non-offensive for the diverse mixture of people in our audiences.
