Torture Wheel

HORROR FUNERAL DOOM METAL

About Me

My band's websites:

affiliated record labels:

Founded in Hamilton, Ohio in late 2002 by E.M. Hearst; Torture Wheel is a side project of Wraith of the Ropes. Torture Wheel plays what has come to be called "Funeral Doom Metal", though the band has trouble accepting that classification... for simplicity's sake, "Funeral Doom Metal" will have to do. The music is also influenced heavily by 70's Prog and Psychedelic Rock as well as classick Industrial Muzak.

Torture Wheel released two Split-CD's in 2003 and 2004. In late 2004, Torture Wheel signed to Firebox Records and released it's first album (titled Crushed Under...) in early 2005 (a 45 minute 'EP' compilation that collected all of the material recorded in the first year of Torture Wheel's existence.
