< As early as I can remember, music has always played a key role in my life. It was always my way of escaping reality. Whenever something would upset me or if I had a bad day, music would always make everything seem that much better. It made life seem easier sort of say. I could always turn to music knowing that it would never reject me and would always cheer me up.
My earliest memory of music came in the form of Michael Jacksons “Thrillerâ€. This album would forever change who I would be. My father would play it for me although I was barely a year old when it was released. Over the years when I finally can remember actually listening to it I could literally picture the sounds in my head. Every instrument would separate itself as if allowing me to identify each sound, each rhythm, each bar of musical notation. It went on like this for years until my love for music became something more. I wanted to create it myself but I had no idea where to begin. Of course I know a band can make a great piece of music but what about the other sounds I would hear? Sounds such as synthesizers posed a challenge for me because at the time I had no idea that such things even excited. More years would pass and finally at the age of 21 I received my answer. It was while watching a movie (“Hustle & Flowâ€) that I was introduced to a drum machine, but not just any drum machine but an MPC2000. It opened my eyes in a way like never before. At that moment I knew that Gods plan for me was ready to begin. After 21 years I knew not only what I had to do, but more importantly, how to do it. I purchased my own MPC1000 and was also introduced to the world of music production workstations such as the Yamaha motifs and Korg synths. That was the start.
For the next 2 years I would fully dedicate my time to learning all I could about music, music production and music theory. Along with the help of my wife I invested into more equipment and eventually built my own music production studio.<.center>
In my 2 years of music production I have worked with local acts ranging from New York City to where I currently reside, Providence, RI. While they have all consisted of indie artists I feel that my talent can rank amongst those within the music industry. My style of music ranges from club/techno up-tempo beats to East Coast and West Coast Hip Hop, Reggaeton, RnB, South, Crunk and my own creations.
