I've been working in theatre and film for the last 4 years, since finishing study at QUT and VCA. My first feature is currently doing the festival circuits - "Watch Me" (Scopofile Productions). I originally hail from Queensland, but have been based in Melbourne for the last 4 years. I often travel for work though (we have to go where the work is in this crazy arts industry!), and I've just finished an 8-month gig in Strahan, Tasmania, on the long-running play "The Ship That Never Was" for Round Earth Theatre. We also took tours of the convict settlement, Sarah Island, in the harbour. It was a gorgeous job that I would take again in a heartbeat. It's a tough life :)I'm just about to embark on the next adventure - a month's study with Anne Bogart's SITI company in upstate NY in July/August; then I will travel through Canada, the UK, Europe and Thailand, before returning to Brisbane to study further with physical theatre company Zen Zen Zo, and look for work anywhere in Oz, next year.I have various other skills to support my acting work, including teaching resume writing to school students (Hands On Training, in Melbourne); hosting murder mysteries; roving character work; and photographic modelling.
