I find it hard to write about myself, but here we go anyway.
I'm Ruthless, I'm 15 years old and I have been making music for about 2 years. The last year I started taking it seriously, before it was just a little hobby which I didn't care much about. Before I started mc'ing I was producing all the time. Last year around Feb/March ( I can't remember lol) I released 'More Than An Mc Vol 1.' this was an instrumental promo and it had about 10 beats on it, it took me about 2 weeks to produce the promo. I had it up on myspace for about 2 months. I started mc'ing seriously in February 2008, and shortly after I met Menace who taught me a fair bit about spitting to grime. To this day myself and Menace have worked together and I appreciate everything he's showed me. Shortly after this I started making silly animations and shit just trying to get used to programs such as Sony Vegas & Adobe After Effects. I made a few practice videos and now I know how to create complex hood videos. In summer 2008 I met Tre Sosa, Rafroman & Co. (Known as Sosa Ent.). From then until now we have been working together on occasions. Late 2008 I'm not going to lie I was slacking with my own music, but I was constantly mixing down tunes for other artists, improving my engineering skills.
2009 was a slow start for me, I lost everything on my PC including all my beat projects from the last year. I have not really made any serious beats in 2009, but I am slowly starting to get back on producing. I am looking to soon release a 2 sided promo, instrumentals & vocals, so be on the look out for that.
I design, produce, engineer, mc & make hood videos but only for my boys! If you message me or add me on msn and start going on like "yhh fam man needs a beat innit hook me up" or "yo g i need a hood video do 1 for us innit" I'm just going to quite politely tell you no lol.
