About Me

I wish we didn't live in a world where money runs everything. Life would be much more enjoyable if you could just sit on the front porch with friends and talk all day. I think we'd learn a lot more about ourselves if we just had more time to, I don't know, BE. If we didn't have to run all over the place doing ten million things at once just to keep up with "life" maybe we'd have more time to understand ourselves and, in turn, understand the world around us.
I know I definitely wouldn't be as stressed out as I am most of the time. If everyone could just begin to enjoy the time we've been given on this earth maybe some of the major cultural issues we have would deteriorate instead of our culture itself falling apart.
I want to build a life for myself that challenges me on different levels every day. I'm sick of my daily challenges always being whether or not I'm going to make enough money or blow up at some asshole at one of my jobs. I want to find a way to force myself to grow spiritually, intellectually, and creatively but it almost seems impossible when most of my week is either school, work, or sleep.
