I used to travel around the United States providing worldly advice (to those who consider securitization to be worldly...) sought after by many large corporate clients. My particular favorites include the Challenge Stradale, the Murcielago LP640 roadster, the DB9 Volante, and the Porsche GT3. The one often overlooked quality of exotic automobiles tends to be the exhaust sound. Sure, the cars are beautifully shaped, often in eye-catching colors. But next time, pay special attention to the noises these fabulous machines make. Each one has its own defining characteristics and signature sound. While different, they are all truly intoxicating.I like to understand the various whims and desires that cause people to purchase one marque or model over another; the certain intangibles that keep one brand more successful than its competitors; the sometimes odd and unexplainable economics behind the transaction pricing for a particular model over another. These seemingly trivial considerations all mean and teach something, and allow one to better understand generic market dynamics and strategy -- not just in the automotive industry.I would also consider myself an amateur horologist, keeping updated on the developments and industry shifts in the mechanical watch world.I'm sure you'd just love to have a conversation at this point. In all fairness, I probably did have an interest in one of your interests at some point in time. But the ones above are my current interests.
