Maybe some people in the acting profession, but not neccessarily famous people. It's hard to name specific people . . .
Alright, here's what I own: Arcade Fire, Bell Orchestre, Broken Social Scene, , Dragonforce, Franz Ferdinand, Good Charlotte (left that camp though), Harry Belafonte, Hives, Hoobastank (left them too), Jimmy Eat World, Keane, Lagwagon, Metric, Millencolin, Nirvana, Pilate, Sarah Sleane, Starsailor, Sum 41, Trews, "West Side Story" original cast soundtrack (OCS), Weird Al, "Cats" OCS, "Phantom of the Opera" OCS.And I'm interested in a lot more!I got into jazz earlier in 2006 (classics, mostly). There is a lot of indie music out there that's really interesting. I'm growing more interested in instrumental music. I could say more, but I'll just leave it at that for now.
Metropolis is my absolute favorite film. It's a German silent film that's incredibly awesome. If you know Mr. Burke and want to check it out, ask him if you can borrow it. I also enjoy most of Alfred Hitchcock's films. I like the stuff that Andrew Niccol has done (Gattaca, Truman Show). I like John Waters movies. I also, for some reason, enjoy movies that take place in the 1800s (period stuff). Stuff like "An Awfully Big Adventure." Horror is really fun to watch. I like a lot of movies . . .
Oh my god, I'm a product of 90s YTV. I absolutely loved that channel as a kid. It's passed it's prime now, but back then, omg, it was sooooo amazing. My favorite shows were Bump in the Night, Reboot, Rocko's Modern Life, and Are You Afraid of the Dark (the scariest frigging kid's show EVER). Does anyone else but me remember "Short Circutz," those little 3d animation music videos that YTV occasionally played between shows? I loved those. As well, I grew up watching the Simpsons in it's prime (the 90s). I love that show (but it may need to move on now). Now, I'm into: Robot Chicken, Futurama, Family Guy, Kenny vs. Spenny, Video on Trial, Lost, and Prison Break As for the reality swill (it's nice to play along at home): The Amazing Race, Survivor, and Rockstar. I also watch a lot of music videos. Yeah . . . I watch entirely too much television, though not as much these days thanks to the Internet.
I'm not afraid to say that I really enjoy the Harry Potter books. I really enjoy books like "The World According to Garp" (which is a fantastic novel). I used to read the Redwall series. True Crime books are interesting. And, of course, there are many great plays out there just waiting to be read and performed!
No heroes, per se. Tom Hanks is a cool guy.
