Mayday From Kamikazes

About Me

There is not much to say about Mayday From Kamikazes (MFK) but that it all started from a musical concept and ideas.
More information is yet to come as the soundtracks are yet to be profiled allowing a better definition of MFK.
Mayday is an emergency code word used internationally as a distress signal in voice procedure radio communications, derived from the French m’aider. It is used to signal a life-threatening emergency by many groups, such as police forces, pilots, the fire brigade, and transportation organizations. The call is always given three times in a row ("Mayday Mayday Mayday") to prevent mistaking it for some similar-sounding phrase under noisy conditions, and to distinguish an actual mayday call from a message about a mayday call.
M’aider is the infinitive form of the reflexive verb "help me" within French syntax; however, it is not used as a stand-alone imperative command in standard French, but it is so used in some French patois. This has led some etymologists to claim that what the convention really meant was an abbreviation of the phrase, "Venez m’aider" ("Come help me"). "M’aidez" (which is not grammatically correct either in standard French) is considered an acceptable alternative. In both cases, however, mayday must be considered as a rather crude English phonetic representation. It should be also noted that while in English the phrase is only used in distress situation, in French it carries no more sense of urgency than its English translation. What French people in distress actually shout is, "a l’aide!" or "Au secours!".
In the Japanese language, kamikaze (IPA: <[b>kamikaze]), usually translated as "divine wind" (kami is the word for "god", "spirit", or "divinity"; and kaze for "wind"), came into being as the name of legendary typhoons said to have saved Japan from a Mongol invasion fleet in 1274 and 1281.
In Japanese, the exact term used for units carrying out these suicide attacks during World War II is tokubetsu kogeki tai, which literally means "special attack unit." This is usually abbreviated to tokkotai.
OK, any relevant connection? You would ask after reading this information... Well, sarcasm for what it’s worth: On the face of this planet, we’re all sinners!
Alright, alright, some real and quick information here! Silence (me... yeah it’s a lousy artist name) had a very "70’s" education which includes the community, the music, the nudity, the passive pot smoking (from being around the elder), the learning from everyone from the community and much more. So all this put together you get a neverminded person, eating the juicy fruit of life full mounth and particulary having big issues against "autority" in whatsoever the way it is manisfested. Hmmm. Active music kicked up later much later after going through the drawing, the painting and the writing (and still in) when the first guitar was bought.
If you read all this till here, good for you, I hope the information was usefull. For those who are willing to listen I’m on the way to upload unplugged songs. Do not hesitate to drop a comment on what’s done!
As no band has been put together for this "concept" the songs will be played my way with no particular tempo... no excuses there. GUNS ARE DRAWN!
