About Me

I'm a music producer, engineer and recording studio owner. My buddy Geoff Ott and I bought London Bridge Studio in 2005.

Bands I've worked with include Pearl Jam, Blind Melon, Alice In Chains, Unwritten Law, Zakk Wylde, Queensryche, Candlebox, Brandi Carlile, The Myriad and countless local bands.
Myspace has been a great tool for me meeting new bands and bands meeting me. I'm always excited to hear new music. If you are a band looking for a producer or studio or simply want some musical feedback please don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail. I'm usually able to listen and comment.
I play drums in the band Rip Spacer. www.myspace.com/ripspacer   We are currently recording our 2nd full length record at London Bridge.
I played guitar and wrote in a band called Drive By Star. The band has been defunct since 2007 but the recording we made at London Bridge is still a good example of the type of music I like to write. www.myspace.com/drivebystar
My wife Alcena owns and operates a lovely restaurant and wine bar in Ravenna called The Crepe Cafe And Wine Bar.

She also recently took over Louisa's Cafe and Bakery on Eastlake.

Tracking

My general school of thought for tracking is to capture as much of the live performance and feel as posable. I've learned to really respect the magic that happens between musicians playing live in a...

Overdubbing

In the spirit of trying to make more honest live sounding records I tend to keep overdubbing simple. With todays technology it's all too tempting to add layers and layers of fun ideas on top of each ...
