it all started one day when my brother, a dj, had me snapping pictures of vintage cars at lowrider car shows in order to use them as covers for a series of oldie music cd's that he was making..from that point i was determined to take the best pictures i could possibly take. having experimented with shooting random pictures at a cemetery, i decided to produce those pictures as a series of background images for myspace profiles...thus, 'Grim Flicks Photography' was born!
unlike most other photographers, my medium is not the human form, although i admire pin-up photographers that can capture an era past in their pictures, i find myself more enthused to capture the automotive world (whether it be fully restored vintage cars, or fully customized lowrider and hot rod cars), nature, cemeteries and various other forms that interest me.
