Trifecta+ Entertainment is a team of five writers and filmmakers - Scott Milder, Corey Weintraub, Mary Holyoke, Benjamin Walsh, and Dusty McGowan - who have made a collective name for themselves by looking past the boundaries of conventional entertainment.
The group came together in 2004 through a passion for collaboration and a fearlessness about filmmaking. They seek to produce non-traditional, grass-roots theatrical and cinematic entertainment that serves to captivate, enrapture, and disturb its audience in equal measure.
The team behind Trifecta+ has produced several short films, including the award-winning Something Red (2004) and A Taste of Rita (2004), as well as A Sack of Heads and Bodies (2004) and The Tea Party (2006).
On Halloween, 2006, they shocked Albuquerque with their live, multi-media, interactive production, Murder House, which took place in a supposedly real haunted house. They followed this with the even more ambitious Tunnel of Love on Valentine's Day, 2007.
Trifecta+ is in production on the 16mm short-film Truchas and the ongoing project, It's All Over Baby Blue, a multi-media "online literary experiment" that combines the written word, digital video, and an Internet podcast series into a cohesive "novel" which is being published in serial installments on the web. They are currently in pre-production on Boondocks, their first foray into feature filmmaking.
