The Dread Reverend

About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting

With years of Irish music behind him, the Dread Reverend (Greg Stumbo) works both solo and with the band "Tara's Fire", as well as the bardic troupe the "Sea Chameleon". As a young singer, he flourshed as a classical tenor, but lost his voice to service as an army ranger. Years later, a new voice was found, thanks to the support and coaching of fellow band members from Tara's Fire, Rayne of Tara and Ray Marks II. Now performing pub music and a series of orginals, entertainment abounds. From "Irish Blues" such as "Potatoes, Whiskey & Jigs" on guitar, to "Processman" on bodhran and new arrangements of songs such as "Paddy's Lament", he covers the gambit of Irish music in every show.If you like Irish music, you'll love The Dread Reverend...
