About Me

Well I'm a singer (I can play the sax a bit, but need some refresher courses ideally as Im out of practice...but it looks good!) I've been singing in a duo called Milan (I was the Mil bit!). We'd been going a couple of years or so & prided ourselves on our versatility. Narrowly missed out on seeing the judges on this year's X Factor! I have 2 other great passions in life, Doctor Who & Formula One. I'm loving the revitalised new series of Doctor Who...David Tennant is doing such a great job & I thought the last half of this season was just magical. I run a local DW group here in the South West called the Devon SeaSide Devils, & also produce a fanzine by the name of The Russell Buer Show...if you've been in or heard of either then send me a message!!! At the time of writing F1 is having a very exciting season, in no small part thanks to Lewis Hamilton & it was great to be in the thick of the action at the British GP this year...especially when he grabbed pole...what a reaction from the crowd!!! I'm always more than happy to talk about music, sci-fi or motor racing, so if these things interest you too, I'm sure we can talk for hours!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

So many people!!! I've been lucky enough to meet many of the people I admire, but there are some I'd like to meet again (& again & again!). The list would be like this:-Music - Sam Brown (in my opinion the greatest female vocalist ever...I'd love to sing with her one day!) Robbie Williams - Hated him in Take That, can't get enough of him since!!! The ultimate showman & a better voice than he's given credit for. Glenn Tillbrook - from Squeeze. Another super talented musician & singer...it's been said I sound a bit like him (high praise indeed) Josh Groban - just the most amazing voice & he sings such great songs too There are hundreds of others, but these are the main 4!Doctor Who - Tom Baker - Despite the amazing performances of Mr Tennant, still probably the best Doctor..I've seen him live in a play, but not yet had the pleasure. Always entertaining & mad as a brush! David Tennant - Because he's amazing & because he's a huge fan, so we'd spend as much time talking about the old show as anything else! Paul McGann - Because I haven't yet had the pleasure & he seems such a nice guy Lis Sladen - who I kind of grew up with & was never anything short of brilliant Katy Manning - Because she's almost as mad as Tom Russell T Davies - I'd like to meet Russell in a professional capacity, so he could give me a small part on Dr Who or Torchwood! John Barrowman - enough personality to power a small country!F1 & other motor sports - I used to hang around the paddock a lot in the early 90s, & at one time had met almost all the then-current crop of drivers...of today's bunch, I've met DC (who's a true star)& that's it, so anyone from the grid would be great. Martin Brundle is doing such a great job commentating that I'd love to have a chat with him sometime too. And a chance to meet Michael Schumacher would be great, considering his astonishing achievements. Justin Wilson - a guy I've met a few times, as a shareholder, & someone who deserves all the success they can get...another down to earth nice bloke I'm a motor racing nut, so I'd be happy to meet anyone involved in racing really!Others Bill Bailey - my favourite comedian Derren Brown - I'd like him to do his thing on me! (not in THAT way!!!!) Patrick Stewart - Make it so! Anyone from my favourite shows, any of the Star Treks, Blakes 7, Lost, Life On Mars, Red Dwarf, Charmed, Buffy, Angel, Lee Majors or Lindsay Wagner...the list is endless The thing about me is that I like to meet people who have entertained me...I like to thank them for the enjoyment they've given me over the years, as I think that to be commended for making someone happy is about the best thing that can happen to you!

Arrival on My Space

So here I am! It's taken me a while to bother doing anything here, mainly because I can't imagine many people being that interested. However, saying that, considering my chosen profession, which is en...
