Review from Piccadilly Records:
"In a city renowned for the secrecy of its producers, Detroit's Robert O'Dell has been notable for his steadfast beneath the radar position. With only a tiny handful of credits on Interface and Rephlex to his name, this guy is so underground that he hardly even bothers releasing records at all. That new UK label Citinite kicks off with a six-track EP from O'Dell is newsworthy enough, that it sounds like an early Prince LP that's been transmitted by spaceprobe to the outer reaches of the galaxy before being bounced back to Earth off an extraterrestrial craft is quite another thing. Encompassing Motor City electro, puzzling P-funk and superfreaked electropop, O'Dell out-OutKasts OutKast and provides the sickest cover of the Rolling Stones' disco classic 'Miss You' to boot."
