Or is it all by mistake? Is it just in your nature? Are we playing some game that I dont know about? If it is, I want out!!! You say you love me, but the things you do show hate. How can you make me so happy one moment, and fill my heart with sorrow the next? Is this really love, or just infatuation, the softer side of love? I always ask how I could allow myself to become your puppet on a string? To fall for your tricks? I guess its because your a really good magician. Your always telling me lies, but I'm the one who can't be trusted. I put you before myself, but I'm never there. Being as faithful as I can, never thinking of another man. Always focused on you, but you seem to have other plans. I love you very much but not enough to let my heart get played with. Maybe one day I'll wake up and this illusion will deteriorate. But as long as you hold my strings, I'll be a puppet stuck in the same old wooden box. I can't get mad though, I guess that's the way the game is played.
