Hi! I've come to realize while writing this that I am some kind of mix of town and country, liberal and republican. But really, I'm just a pretty simple girl who likes to have fun! When it comes to my job though, I take it very seriously. I was an ICU nurse for the past 10 years (has it been that long?!). I was a contract nurse for 8 of those years, mostly open heart recovery. And of course, mostly on night shift, hence my weird humor. I've lived in a lot of places and learned a lot in a relatively short life. I lived in Mississippi until I was 23, and since then, I've lived in New Orleans, Dallas, San Francisco and Minneapolis. While in LA, I've lived in Westwood, Marina del Rey, and now Valencia. I'm more into the "Green" side of politics. I'm very into recycling to help out this world we are destroying. I care much more about a person's character qualities than superficial looks. All that sounds very contradictory given that I've lived in LA for 6 years now! :) I'm certainly not perfect and I don't pretend to be. People have told me that I am practical more than emotional. I try to live by the "Golden Rule" of "Do Unto Others as You Would Have Them Do Unto You." I rarely get jealous. Please don't confuse hospitality with something more. If you are my friend, I am fiercely protective. And yes, I do still have a lot of my accent! If I left out anything, just ask. I'm more than happy to share my opinion. Oh, I'm also an insomniac, so you never know when you'll catch me on here! LOL!
Also, before engaging me in a conversation about politics, please know I have very strong feelings about Middle Eastern policies. :) And for those who knew me when I was younger, you'll be happy to know I'm A LOT nicer than I used to be! :D
