About Me
Age of 19, currently an Assistant Manager at Coney Island and about to go to OSU. I'm not a big fan of the state, if you hadn't guessed. I oppose coercion of any type, except when the carrying capacity is at risk (e.g. I'm in favor of population control). I feel most organized religions serve to control and keep ignorant the masses. I believe humanity should safeguard and study ecological systems and use appropriate technology to expand consciousness and abolish suffering. Frankly, I kind of like my real name, Edison, but you can call me whatever you want, within reason. I urge you to free your mind from the tyranny of consensus reality and free your body from the shackles of forty-hour fascism. That is to say, tune in, turn .. out.
Books Everyone Should Read Now:

Some quotes I like:
"The only way to comprehend what mathematicians mean by Infinity is to contemplate the extent of human stupidity." - Voltaire
"Puritanism: the haunting fear that somebody, somewhere, might be having a good time." - H. L. Mencken
"I suggest a simple experiment. Everytime you hear the expression "the war on drugs," change it mentally to "the war on some drugs." At the same time call up to mind all the Drug Stores and Bars/Saloons in your town or neighborhood and all the cigarette shelves in your friendly supermaket and remember that the government has started no war against them. When you understand that we have no "war on drugs" but only a "war on some drugs," consult the passages on double-think and duck-speak in Orwell's "1984" for further enlightenment on neurolinguistic mindwarping." - Robert Anton Wilson
"There is no difference in principle between sharpening perception with an external instrument, such as a microscope, and sharpening it with an internal instrument, such as one of these...drugs. If they are an affront to the dignity of the mind, the microscope is an affront to the dignity of the eye and the telephone to the dignity of the ear. Strictly speaking, these drugs do not impart wisdom at all, any more than the microscope alone gives knowledge. They provide the raw materials of wisdom, and are useful to the extent that the individual can integrate what they reveal into the whole pattern of his behavior and the whole system of his knowledge." - Alan Watts
"People have a right to get stoned. They have a right to think and explore their own minds. This is as intimate a part of their being as their sexuality. Any culture which mitigates that is clearly afraid of a full and fair and open dialogue about what reality is and what real human values ought to be." - Terence McKenna
"So off they went and soon enough they mingled among the natives, Lotus-eaters, Lotus-eaters who had no notion of killing my companions, not at all, they simply gave them the lotus to taste instead..." - Homer, The Odyssey, 9.102
