About Me

He awoke to the sun streaming through the windows. With consciousness came confusion, and the "where?" and "why?" of his present location was not forthcoming. Eventually, the smell, which was a mixture of sweat, liquor, and unwashed clothing, made him aware of his immediate surroundings. Eight sleeping bags where arranged in a semi-circle on a floor. A very dirty floor.
His circumstances came rushing back. The sun was in a German sky. The floor was in a spartan room in a squatted building. The smell was that of his brothers in rock - Alloy.
The band had slayed the crowd last night, there was no doubt about that. He could feel it in his shoulders, in his hands, and in his throat. He could see it in his mind eye - song after song of blazing tunage released to the wanting crowd. The energy and the fury of the music had turned everyone in that room into a single breathing, moving, pulsating organism. Together, the world had been theirs and the world had been on fire.
He enjoyed the morning silence.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Vic Bondi - Guitar, Vocals

WHERE VIC IS NOW? Father, Husband, and Dockers wearing subversive, Vic is currenly splitting his time between NYC, where he lives, and Seattle, WA, where he works for uber-corporatocracy MICROSOFT. With the personal endorsement of Steve Ballmer, Vic is still rockin-and-rollin with his new band REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, which cycles it's projects in the typical "keep the dream alive" fashion - a) Record album; b) play a MAXIMUM of 2 weekends worth of shows; c) constantly discuss the possibility of a European tour; d) maintain a blog site; and e) create two years of non band related scheduling conflicts before work on the next release can be started.

Patrick Mahoney - Guitar

WHERE IS PATRICK NOW? Having spent the last 12 years refining his own special blend of punk rock hypocrisy, Patrick is most likely speeding down Orange County CA's 405 freeway in his leased BMW listening to Minor Threat on his I-pod. Through his long-time association with the "Music Merchandising" industry, Patrick was identified as an accessory to the murder of Punk Rock in 1995 through his willing role in the wide spread sale of consumer lifestlyle products branded with the names of bands that had been playing basement shows less than 2 years earlier. As an owner of THE MERCHANDISE COMPANY, Patrick continues to spend a substantial portion of his time selling t-shirts for prices at least 5 times higher than the admission price of the 7 band all ages shows he attended almost every Saturday afternoon in the mid eighties.

Roger Marbury - Bass

WHERE IS ROGER NOW? Roger is most likely the only member of Alloy to be mentioned on the IMDB website. With over 30 IMDB credits to his name, Roger has worked as a gaffer, electrician, and grip on a number of TV and Film projects including Shallow Hal, Spider Man, Mona Lisa Smile, and The Departed. A career like this thankfully has the benefit of a flexible schedule because recent opinion polls show that the next DAG NASTY reunion record could have Shawn Brown or Peter Cortner on vocals, but not Doug Carrion on bass.

Colin Sears - Drums

WHERE IS COLIN NOW? Since the break-up of Alloy in 1994, Colin has played on (unconfirmed) 627 full length CDs, 276 7" vinyl only releases, 184 split 7" vinyl only releases, and 1096 compilations. All but 3 of these releases are on small, obscure, mostly European based labels. When not in the studio, Colin lives in and works for the City of Portland, OR. More information can be found at daghouse.com.

OTHER MEMBERS:

Pete Hines - Drums

WHERE IS PETE NOW? We don't really know, but Vic and Patrick claim to have run into him in Seattle sometime in 1999. By the way, we think the HANDSOME record was pretty good.
Influences: Killing Joke, Neil Young, The Fall, Gang Of Four, Husker Du, and bone crushing rock in general.
Sounds Like: Had these guys been around in 1992-1994 we would have worn their stuff with pride. But they weren't, so we didn't. However, you should.

Record Label: Bitzcore
Type of Label: Indie
