This is the growth after about 3 1/2 weeks. I am doing the goatee crap for now and then will shave off the bottom as the day approaches:

So Tina and I left LA driving up Highway 1, which I also recommend doing as long as you have the time and the wildfires don't disrupt your trip halfway through and you have to backtrack 30 miles....
