I have a handful of hobbies I'm passionate about, with oldtime music, photography and sewing at the top of the list. I take a lot of photos at music festivals and shows. In my photo galleries you'll see some of my favorite festivals, like Watermelon Park Fest , Graves Mountain , and FloydFest . I keep a flickr photostream too, since everybody else is doing it. On my youtube channel , you'll see videos I've taken of bluegrass and oldtime musicians like Crooked Still , Kristin Andreassen , Furnace Mountain , and even a few of my own little (now defunct) band . I don't take a lot of video anymore since I got an SLR camera, but my husband took up the slack and started his own youtube channel . Anyone is welcome to use my photographs or link to my vidoes, as long as they give me credit. Likewise, if I have posted any video or photograph of you that you do NOT want posted, let me know and I will remove it.
I've been playing the fiddle for over four years now, with my main interest in oldtime, but I play some Irish and bluegrass as well. My husband and I have a house full of instruments so I'm also learning to play guitar and upright bass--and soon, the banjo ukulele!
