eLECTRONIC mECCA was founded in 2001 by the native-born austrian Rene Z. Before "EM" he worked as a drummer, writer, arranger and singer in various projects. The music was influenced by elements of jazz, classic and other styles, improvised or componised. The present works of "EM" are structurally open for every new approache.
Rene Z. is also known as the inventor of a music style called "Fecaljazz". It is an alternative type of scatt-singing that contains vulgar lyrics, fecal-verbalisms and noises in jazz improvisations. Furthermore Rene Z. is writing and performing radio plays and audiobooks.
