About Me


Lunarain Idea was born in last 2006 by the initiative of Hernando Valencia and Diego Vargas, this idea of a band features a minimalistic elements to produce quality own Songs, also never seen elements in our country and the fact of play Metal Music.
During 2007 Angela Garcia and Andres Gomez, joined the band as Guitar Players, getting close to being a full band, during that time band also have composed baselines of their own songs. Rodrigo Leon from Quimera joined us as a Guest Musician doing important arrangements to Drums and Percussions.
Lunarain members can't speak about of a band like inspiration source or of one like direct influence, this fact is given because they have technical characteristic to interpreting as they were being developed in the instrument that each one of them uses, making this an unique combination.
Lunarain is based on several outlines of European and Asian Rock, this outlines ruled by the fact of finding the quality by the Sound, likewise the creation of songs that, for this way to say it, are "simple" but full with passion, energy and enthusiasm giving a really deep Atmosphere to the music.
After a really long search,in early 2008 Daniela Gordillo was selected as vocalist, being the main voice and also the front-woman being a charismatic and talented one!,also this year Rodrigo León joined us as our full time drummer. He continues playing in Quimera so check that band out!
