Just breaking into the production side of Electronica, DJ Brilliance, or just simply "The Brilliance" has been Djing around the Kansas City under different aliases since 2002. Paired up with DJ Swift of MTV fame, the two started playing shows together and eventually went head to head in the Westport Beach Club DJ Competition of 2003. In only the first of a hand full of shows, DJ Brilliance beat out over 35 other local DJ's taking 1st place.Since then he has adopted more of a lounge theme and has broken into producing beats from his home studio. His beats are labeled as dreamy and emotional, then again sometimes agressive.Still in his early days of production, his experimentation within the electronica realm shows his keen grasp of sound, and knowledge of what "just sounds good."
