I suppose if you’re reading this you want to know a little bit about me. Well I Graduated from Bloomington North High School and shortly after went into the United States Marine Corps.
After four years full active duty service I came back home to Bloomington Indiana. I joint joined the military to travel and travel I did. I was stationed at camp Pendleton California.
I did 2 tours in Okinawa Japan (spent about 13 months total there). I got to go to Cebu in the Philippines, Brisben Australia, Guam, and last but not lest I was deployed to East Timor as part of a Peace keeping force in 2001 where I was awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal. In my time away from home I found I missed it more than I ever thought I would.
Now that I am home I am a Psychological Technician at Bloomington Hospital’s Regional Behavioral Heath Units on the 5th floor. The Unit I work primarily on is called Crisis Care. I love it, nothing like helping people who are experiencing difficult transitions in their lives.
I work hard and play harder. I hang out mostly with the people that I work with due to the fact we are a close group who sometimes must depend on each other in vary stressful and dangerous situations. At times I think it’s because of the military conditioning but truth be told I consider them all vary good friends and enjoy their company.
I am generally shy around new people but I am vary easily motivated and am told on a regular basis that I am fun and energetic. I think it’s because I have seen a lot of sad sights due to the job so I take life in stride and love to have a good time. I do drink but it’s only socially with friends, and maybe a beer or two while watching an IU game. I enjoy the company of others and am a vary social person. Well I think that is a good description, maybe even a short biography about my self.
