About Me

Scot Wisniewski was born and raised in Auburn, NY. Although he believes his musical training began when his mother sang to him in the womb, his actual musical training began in elementary school with piano lessons at age 5, and shortly thereafter, clarinet lessons at age 8. Throughout his entire life, Scot has been involved in the arts. All throughout his primary and teenage years, Scot was in many regional theater productions. Productions include: Fiddler on The Roof, Annie, Much Ado About Nothing, The Hobbit, Brigadoon, The Sound of Music, and Oklahoma just to name a few.Scot always knew that he wanted to live in NYC and perform in cabaret clubs and on Broadway. Once he graduated from Keuka College in 2000, Scot immediately packed his bags and moved to NYC just two weeks after graduation. To get himself noticed Scot started singing at various cabaret clubs where he could perform during open mic nights. In 2002, Scot had his first cabaret show titled, The Beginning, at Don't Tell Mama. The show ran for three months to sell out crowds and stellar reviews. A triumph for a debut show!In 2001 Scot reached national acclaim when he was a finalist in Ed McMahon's internet talent competition The Next Big Star. Scot's rendition of This Is The Moment from the Broadway musical Jekyll & Hyde received over three million votes. The song is on his most recent album Broadway Scot's Way.In the winter of 2002, Scot released his first album titled A Classic Christmas on Independent Records. The CD features 10 of Scot's favorite Christmas songs. The CD which used to only be available for purchase four months out of the year is now available for purchase year round. Scot's rendition of Schubert's Ave Maria (which is on the album) has been reviewed by countless critics as "The most beautiful Ave I have ever heard." --Chicago Sun, "Scot's Ave brought me to tears." --AM New YorkScot's latest recording is Broadway, Scot's Way.
