Delton Baker born March 17, 1982 and Steven Baker Born April 30, 1984, both in Los Angeles county Watts, California to Janell Morris and Robert (bobby) Baker. Their father at the time was touring as a member of the world famous coasters who had such hits as "love potion No.9", "Poision Ivy", "Charlie Brown", "Yakkity Yak," and many other well known hits around the world. in 1988 they decided to move to Atlanta, Georgia after a series of misfortune incidents including the death of their mother. It was there that they inherited their southern slang and crunk culture, by their father already having experience in the music business they were exposed to the entertainment industry. Growing up they both took an interest in rap/hip hop, the music of their generation. Throughout the years they traveled back an forth from the west to the south picking up both coasts lifestlyes. With the influence such as Tupac Shakur, Master P, Thrree-Six Mafia, Biggie Smalls, Snoop Dogg, Outkast, Pastor, T. I., Lil Jon and various artists of their time. They conbine their flavors to whip up their unique rap style and hard hitting beats.
During their separation in 2000 delton tried to persue his dreams of becoming a rapper with groups as well as a solo artis in Atlanta Georgia while steven on the other hand tried to accomplish his educational goals in Long Beach, California. It was not until a couple of years later the two found themselves back with each dther working together as "Dem Baker Boyz". They have performed at such clubs as the Pool Palace, Coco Locco, Club Babs, The Royal Peacock, Club Libra, J-Paul, and many other spots blowing them up and leaving an impression every time they performed on stage. These two bothers faced at times peril of obstacles, situation such as being incarcerated, unemployment, death of friends and close family members, nerly homeless, and other life trials and tribulations. Going through these trials and tribulations the two brothers learned that there in no great outcome without a great struggle and nothing is possible without GOD, and applying those morals, values, beliefs and outlook on life to their music they will surely take their places as MVP's in the V.I.P. section of the rap game.
