Lahir dari scene punk hardcore di kota Semarang medio Agustus 2004. DAS CAPITAL mungkin terlalu asing untuk nama sebuah band,not too ear-catching Di ambil dari buku karangan Karl Marx berjudul “Das Kapital”, dengan sedikit sentuhan berbeda pada huruf “C”, kita mempunyai pesan “We need money but it’s not everything”. Dengan cara yang lebih melodic dan santai Das Capital ingin merasuki pikiran pemuda-pemudi agar tidak semakin tergila-gila dengan Richboy & Richgirl..hmmm..Das Capital menamai aliran musiknya dengan “Lunatic Melodic” yang berarti melodic yang gila atau kegilaan melodic ( melodic dalam berbagai warna musik..huaa) Das Capital memliki line up Ron-Ron ,Dedx, Glx, Hanz Para personil Das Capital banyak terpengaruh oleh band-band punk rock,melodic punk, ska, dan reggae..Tetapi inspirasi utama Das Capital didapat dari band-band Fat Wreck Chords seperti NOFX, No Use For a Name, dan Lagwagon. Das capital juga ikut serta dalam album kompilasi Punk Rock Harcore yang bertajuk "Untuk Semua" yang dirilis pada 15 maret 2008. 31 Mei 2008 adalah kali pertama bagi Das Capital untuk merilis sebuah CD mini album bertitel “ Warming Up”, yang mempunyai arti bahwa setiap orang mempunyai kesempatan untuk mempengaruhi keadaan yang terjadi di dunia, bukan hanya mereka yang memiliki materi berlebih saja yang dapat merubah dunia. Gambar di kover menunjukkan kemurkaan orang-orang biasa yang sebenarnya memilki hak yang sama dengan si Richman. We were born on August 14th 2004, when one of our member felt sucks with richguy. Das Capital is taken from Karl Marx' book, "Das Kapital". Marx wrote about critical to the capitalist. On this band, we try to write a reality of life, where the rich so arbitruary controlling the world. Our songs based on a life principle "MONEY IS IMPORTANT, BUT IT IS NOT EVERYTHING".
