DJ Particle is NOT:
1) from California (I notice last.fm seems to confuse me for Garrett Crosby (check out his own MySpace), also known as "Dj PaRTiCLe" (note the changing caps) - granted, he's a genius on the tables, but I'm not him, and I didn't steal his name. I've had this moniker since 1994.)
2) a guy from Rhode Island (which is why I couldn't just get "djparticle" on MySpace...who is this guy anyway? *heh*)
3) a property of an atomic unit with the ability to mash up electrons so they orbit and collide with mad beats (ok so this has no basis in reality *heh*)
DJ Particle IS:
1) supportive of the demise of the RIAA (I am proof positive that they are no longer needed!)
2) very lesbian and taken (friends only, no further, ok? Thanks! :) )
3) writer and performer of filk, parody, satire, and DJ of mashed-up mad beats!
I was originally DJ trained in 1994 by the one and only Vinny Marrero, who is now a DJ with TC Music, and I tranferred those skills to digital media in 2001 when I acquired OtsAV DJ [free plug, free plugs for everyone!]. It's expensive, but I swear by it! :)
