About Me

So I have never actually written anything here and I thought maybe I would give it a try. I'm 20 years old, although I don't look it (and I sure don't act it :P), and I am a youth sponsor at CCC. Youth is pretty much my life. Some of my closest friends are from the youth group. A lot of people from past generations don't really think that kids have much to offer, but they don't know what they are missing! Teenagers today go through so much and are very good at acting like everything is perfect. What teens need is someone to be there, to be a friend. You can't always take their outside emotions as truth. Sometimes you have to be willing to dig a little to find out what is really going on in their lives. In their hearts. And if you are willing to dig, you can build some of the most amazing, lasting relationships. Thank you, kids, for showing me what amazing people you are. I'm am proud to call you my friends.
