I am a Texan through and through, but I love to travel and see other places. For the past several years I have worked in redeveloping the urban area of Dallas and finally, I have made a commitment to actually living in the middle of it. Next year my husband, daughter (when she's in town), and I will move to a high-rise in downtown Dallas. I can't wait. I am a night owl and I like the vibrancy of people being on the streets walking around and having fun. I'm just trying to reconcile several things, including how I will deal with a dog in downtown Dallas - should be interesting. I just hope that we will meet some people who enjoy the same things. We have lived in a suburban area for 20 years and don't know any of our neighbors - everyone is too busy with their own lives. I hope, though, that I can get involved with some organization to help other people - I just need to find the right fit.
