Body Piercing Unlimited is Fairbanks’ oldest body modification shop. We are located at 1637 College Road, across the street from the fairgrounds, and we are open Tuesday through Saturday 12 to 9. We are also open on Sundays and Mondays from 12 to 7 for appointment only tattoos. No piercing is offered those days.
You must be 18 years or older to get a tattoo and have a valid state or federally issued photo I.D. with your picture and date of birth at the time of your appointment. Walk-ins are welcome, but they are first come, first serve, so your best bet is to make an appointment. We only require a $60 deposit to make your appointment and this holds your time slot and goes towards the price of your tattoo.
Piercings are strictly walk-in. You may be pierced if you are under the age of 18, however, a parent or legal guardian must be present with proof of guardianship. Both parties must have valid identificaion, issued through a state or federal agency. If a parent is bringing in a child and parent and child do not have the same last name, they must provide documentation such as a birth certificate, marriage certifate, divorce decree, etc. to prove guardianship. The age cut-off for navel piercings is 15, for tongue piercings is 16, and for nipples and genitals is 18.
