Loud Minority: hailing from the west side of London (is it the new Detroit?) and continuing a fine musical lineage - this talented collective of aspiring hip young dj's, producers, musicians and vocalists are under the aegis of their rather famous and illustrious mentor DJ Norman Jay MBE. Under Jay's astute A&R stewardship this prolific collective are now finally ready to reveal some of their broad-based repertoire right here exclusively on myspace.The core members of the Loud Minority can also truly boast one other mind blowing fact - exclusive access to Mr Jay's legendary Good Times record collection - an extensive collection that spans some 40 years of tunes which has already supplied some wicked samples for the boys. Those of you already on the case will have by now experienced some rocking freestyle party sets from the collective's dynamic deejay duo Ben Casey and Russell Jay - who have successfully played alongside their mentor at a number of high profile Good Times events in recent years. The boys are currently hosting their own Loud Minority room at the increasingly popular HALO PROMO nights/parties at the Cross in London's Kings X.From the lofty confines of 'Skylab' - a cool studio space set up by Good Times productions Ltd - the crew who consist of Ben Casey, Big Russ, D'Tyga, N.I.R.E. and a host of extremely talented young musicians are currently working on their own material producing high quality dance, hip hop, Nu Jazz and Neo soul tunes as well as sample based music.
