I have a lot of interests, including: kids, friends, family, fun, and music. I love kids and I take care of them for a living. I am a very easy-going person who tries hard to look at situations with an unbiased view. I'm really diplomatic and overall understanding. I kind of have a corny sense of humor, but it makes my friends laugh, and I dig that. Making my friends happy and giving them opportunities to have fun and laugh is important to me. I have a huge family and the times I share with them are times I cherish and enjoy. Especially times with my 94 year old grandmother. I like going bowling, shopping, to movies, walking, and going on random excursions. I love singing (I sang 2nd Alto/1st Tenor in a choir) and listening to all kinds of music. I can't play any kind of instrument but I appreciate any musical talent. I write poetry and short stories, and love to share them with people. Oh yeah, I am also really into baseball. I LOVE the Oakland A's and frequent their games. I am looking forward to the 2007 season when I can blow my budget by legally purchasing alcoholic beverages there!
Well, I would not really like to meet anyone (off myspace), in the literal sense of the phrase. I figure I am pretty well set with the friends I have in real life. However, I am not opposed to being an acquaintance of yours or reacquainting with you if I have known you in the past. To further specify: I'd like to meet (or reacquaint) anyone who knows me from some point in my life. Anyone who wants to know me--with the exception of people who message me solely based on my looks, people who want to invade my personal space in any number of ways, and people who are Yankees fans--sorry peeps, you're either shallow, nasty and choose to ignore the fact that my relationship status is listed as "In a Relationship", or assholes as most Yankees fans are. So as far as you other people are concerned, as long as you are not one of the people I do not want to meet, I probably wouldn't reject your friend request.

All kinds. I have over 500 artists in my iTunes. I mostly listen to Rock, Punk Rock, Alternative, Pop and Country music, but I enjoy all music. Here are some of my favorites: Counting Crows, Gavin DeGraw, Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day, Guster, Jimmy Eat World, The Killers, Martina McBride, Matt Nathanson, Seether feat. Amy Lee, The Shins, Sister Hazel, 3 Doors Down, Alanis Morrisette, Beck, Ben Folds Five, Blink 182, Brandy, Bright Eyes, Bruce Springsteen, The Clash, The Dixie Chicks, Dashboard Confessional, DMB, Eagles, Five For Fighting, Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, Nelly, Anna Nalick, Def Leppard, Jurassic 5, Better Than Ezra, Collective Soul, Jay Z, Mariah Carey, Vertical Horizon, Tonic, Jojo, Beyonce, Joss Stone, Alicia Keys, Nelly Furtado...the list goes on. As you can see, I really do like all music.
My favorites are (in no particular order):"Little Miss Sunshine", "V for Vendetta", "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", "Finding Nemo", "Yours, Mine, and Ours", "Napoleon Dynamite", "Speed", "Clerks", "The Big Lebowski", "Ms. Congeniality", "The School of Rock", "Anchorman", "Wedding Crashers", "Dodgeball", "The Mask Of Zorro" (just for the scene where Catherine Zeta-Jones' dress was cut off and her hair fell strategically over her boobs--it's hot, even to a straight girl.) "Life As A House", "The Sandlot", "Fever Pitch" (an adorable chickish flick about a girl and the guy she falls in love with's baseball obession. Really I'll watch anything that pertains to baseball--I love it! The only bad thing about the movie is that the guy was a Red Sox fan, but at least he wasn't a Yankees fan). "A League Of Their Own" (the best baseball movie out there), and "Rookie of The Year" (another good baseball movie). The only movie I've ever cried in was "The Notebook." Weird/bizzare/disturbing movies I've seen: "Clockwork Orange", "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and "Sin City."
A's games whenever possible. Otherwise most shows on TLC, Cold Case and City Confidential on A&E, most shows on HGTV, some shows on ANML, MythBusters, LOST, BONES, Supernatural (mostly for the good-looking leading men), America's Next Top Model, Top Chef, CSI, Project Runway...the list goes on. Only a handful of those I watch religiously.
The "Harry Potter" books by J.K. Rowling. "White Oleander." Any book by Barbara Kingslover. Romance, fiction, poetry--whatever. Books are cool.
