BIOGRAPHY
ANMOD plays BRUTAL DEATH METAL mixed GRINDCORE. Many people define it as DEATHGRIND.
ANMOD started activities in 2005 by the ashes of Fornication. Fornication started back in 1996, released 2 albums, "Descendants of Degenerated Race" through Black Hole Productions (Brazil in 2003) and "Unleashed Wrath" through Brutalized Records (Colombia in 2004). Fornication also recorded "Regurgitated Guts" from mighty Death, included in "Together As One - A tribute To Death", released by Mondongo Canibale Productions from Spain in 2003.
In September 2004 Fornication went to Europe to the "Unleashing Wrath Over Europe Tour". The band spend 3 months touring through 9 countries (Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Slovenia, Hungary and Czech Republic).
After the tour in 2005, Gerson Watanabe (guitars), Hernan Oliveira (bass/vocals) and Johnny R.R. (drums) decided to leave Fornication and started to compose new songs. Since we didn't hear any news about the band in the last 3 years, we think Fornication is R.I.P. since 2005.
That was the beginning of ANMOD, in 2005.
In 2007 the band got into studio to record "Monstrosity Per Defectum" CD. It was recorded in Curitiba Brazil, between March and July 2007. Then we started to promote the album by ourselves and we got in contact with Mr Gerard, owner of Deity Down Records (The Netherlands), thanks to Ron (Vermin - NL) which we met in Netherlands in 2004.
After some days negotiating, then we finally signed with DDR and in January 1st 2008 the album is officialy released by DDR in Europe.
