I'm somebody's mommy...I'm a step-mother...I'm a step-grandmother!! Oh, yeah! I'm a wife too. I'm new at all of this though and it can be pretty lonely. That's why I'm here. I love to dance and sing and I am working on my goaltending skills for the women's ice hockey team. I was singing in a classic rock band (before the baby) which I plan to do again in the future. I read a lot. Mostly technical physics type things. I don't know why. Science intrigues me. I'm Roman Catholic, too. Believe it or not, science and religion can live in harmony. (I can't wait to see "The Passion".) I'd love to go to Friday's and have a couple of drinks with my friends but I can't leave the baby and I can't take her with me. My husband works a lot. That's great! That sucks! We love where we live and we have two cocker spaniels who we plan to mate in about a year. Anyone want a puppy? My little girl is turning one tomorrow. She's SO amazing. She walks and dances and sings and already has a better vocabulary than some guys I used to date! Motherhood is hard (especially in the beginning) and at the same time the most exciting, rewarding, fun thing I've ever done in my life. My daughter is my life and I really wouldn't have it any other way!
