Made even more famous by the film "Grumpy Old Men," the Half Time Rec has the oldest live Irish music tradition in the Upper Midwest! Over many wonderful years, we have had the great opportunity of bringing you the best and most exclusive Irish music in the Twin Cities. After a 2 year break from Irish music the Irish community has spoken! They have asked us to PLEASE BRING BACK THE IRISH MUSIC! So that is what we have done! You will once again enjoy a pint and your Irish musical favorites from the Irish Brigade to many other local, national and international Irish bands! We have updated and remodeled the back music room to offer you an enhanced music sound system, a larger stage and much more seating room! Irish music is back at the Half Time Rec better than ever! We look forward to seeing all of your familiar "smiling" faces as well as many new "smiling" faces! As always we are dedicated to bringing you the utmost in quatily music! We have weekly dart, pool and bocce ball leagues. Come play Hammer Schlagen, the hottest pub game around, from November thru April on Friday and Saturday nights.
