Bass player/composer/arranger Hiroyuki Sakaba was born in Saitama, Japan. He graduated from Berklee College Of Music on May,'04 with a degree in Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production dual major.He studied electric and/or acoustic bass under Shinichiro Iwao, Louis Johnson, Anthony Vitti, and David Clark. He also studied composition/production techniques under Mike Farquharson.He is currently working with several of Boston local groups including Maria McNeil Group, Darren Siman's Superband, and his own projects.
