About Me

I am writing and practicing for my own CD recording....Please leave a message or friend request.Born on Cape Cod, grew up on Nantucket Island. The first band I performed with, The Islanders, was a private party/wedding band. The set list was mostly old rock n roll, but introduced me to Cape Verdean music as well as Bill Monroe, Patsy Cline and fine traditional songs that I had never heard before. We played many, many weddings and some pretty ritzy parties in the late 80s/early 90s. Several bands after that including Paul Fey (acoustic rock), Rough Mix (R&B, Blues) and a trio with singer/songwriter John Cadley and bassist John Dancks. My husband, Joe, and I live in Central New York where we are living the life and raising our children. Thanks again for stopping by!

Remembering Colin, Part I

Over the weekend my memory was jogged and I began recounting memories of an old pal of mine, Colin K.     Colin wasn't always my "pal," more like "my tormentor."  Real...

I Guess That's Why They Call It a Gift

I played one of the most unusual, but interesting, and satisfying gigs tonight that I've ever had the privilege to be part of.  Three of us-- another woman (guitar) and me, plus our friend John (...

Nowhere to go but up...

Nowhere to go but up..Well, tonight was supposed to be a no-brainer. I went over to Weedsport in order to support my friends, a bluegrass band called The Lost Boys.  I was asked to come up and si...
