Welcome to Thousand Yard Stereo! We are a new label based in the South Wales Valley's / Cardiff area. As we are so new (started Autumn 2006 ), there's not much to say about our brief history other than that Thousand Yard Stereo has been created with the coming together of the guys behind Lifetaker Records and Poisoned Whiskey Records. Both Lifetaker and Poisoned Whiskey are still very much alive, but Thousand Yards Stereo is a new venture with its own identity. However, it will still be run with a strong DIY ethos and an insatiable lust for new exciting music.Our first release is the debut single from The New 1920 (ex-douglas, Along Came Man, The Take). The 3 tracker was recorded up in London with the guys behind (and in!) Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly; and has been licensed to TPF Records through Thousand Yard Stereo. The New 1920 head out on the road with Lostprophets in November, check their site for more details.Our next release will be Haddonfield's 'Bar Brawls and Downfalls' EP, which will be released in December 2006. Fresh from their support slot with The Misfits in Cardiff, Haddonfield's new release is 5 cuts of classic Horrorpunk and is a true delight!
